Wild Rice Electric Cooperative is seeking two (2) Seasonal Apprentice Lineworkers to join the operations team for the upcoming 2025 summer construction and maintenance season. This position is seasonal with an expected start date on or around May 5, 2025, with an end date of no greater than 1,000 worked hours. The Seasonal Apprentice will perform duties and responsibilities under the direction of the Line Superintendent, Line Foreman or Lead Lineman assisting in the construction, operation and maintenance of structures, lines and equipment of the distribution and transmission facilities of the Cooperative in a safe, reliable and timely manner, which will provide members with safe, reliable service. They must have a first aid card and be willing to comply with the Cooperative’s basic operating safety rules as well as understand the latest National Safety Code clearance requirements.  

Under the direction of the Line Superintendent, Line Foreman or Lead Lineman and within scope of apprenticeship:

Wild Rice Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative located in Mahnomen, Minnesota. The Cooperative manages 3,645 miles of line and serves over 11,000 members in Mahnomen, Polk, Norman, Clay, Becker and Clearwater counties.
