Wild Rice Electric is excited to welcome applications for an Electrical Engineer. The electrical engineer is an essential Operations team member partnering with the Cooperative’s Engineer consultants to advise and participate in long and short-range work plans, provides information on potential growth areas, sectionalizing, cost of service and arc flash studies and the completion and review of all regulatory documents.
Along with the consulting engineer’s partnership, the electrical engineer will prepare work orders, staking sheets, construction drawings and similar type work consistent with RUS and the Cooperative’s standard guidelines, practices and policies and in accordance with the current National Electrical Safety Code. Additionally, performs drafting and mapping functions necessary to maintain working files resulting incurrent data, maps, etc. to reflect existing system status.

This is a full time, non-exempt position with a hiring range of $40.63 - $41.83 per hour.
